Welcome! My name is Helen Textor, and I am an NYC based actor, dancer, writer and model. I'm a proud member of the Elon University graduating class of 2020 where I received a BFA in Theatre Arts and a minor in Dance. I’ve spent my life as an artist and performer, whether it was by taking beginner ballet lessons with other toddlers in Kansas City or singing and acting at The Patel Conservatory in Downtown Tampa as a high school student. After graduating mid-pandemic, I'm hungry to perform again, dive into the world of the New York City arts scene, and create.

During the Fall of 2018 I was able to study abroad at the Theatre Academy London where I fine tuned my acting skills, as well as studied play writing, stage combat and movement. My love for the stage and storytelling began with dancing, and I have been able to continue to hone my technique through my Dance minor. I developed a passion and ability for learning and teaching dialects and accents for the stage and was able to dialect coach multiple productions at Elon from 2019-2020.

While living in New York, I've spent my time performing in play festivals and on off-Broadway stages, collaborated on feature film productions as a production manager, and published my first book of poetry entitled 'Harlem Penthouse' about the trials and tribulations of learning to "walk the walk" through the city as a young woman chasing down dreams. When not performing or writing, I love to read, get into the outdoors, collaborate with photographers as a model, and collect refrigerator magnets from all over the world. Creating often fails to pay the bills at my stage of the career, so I've been indulging in the sacred art of bartending for the past three years of my residence here (come by La Pecora Bianca and let me make you one of my world famous margaritas!).
